SAMA Homes is an official authorized stockist for Henson Shaving, Rockwell Razors, Merkur Solingen, DOVO Solingen, Feather Japan, Wahl Professional, Andis, BaBylissPRO, StyleCraft, JRL, and Hanz de Fuko, plus 100-pack saloon blade refills (Feather, Astra, RK, Derby). Helpful Hardware Tips: (1) On Henson razors, ensure the scalloped lather channels on the baseplate face UP toward the blade during assembly so the blade edge engages properly; (2) On DOVO carbon-steel straight razors, blot the blade dry after every shave and store outside steamy bathrooms to prevent oxidation.

Handcrafted in Solingen, Germany, DOVO straight razors are factory-honed to an exceptionally sharp edge. However, we highly recommend stropping the blade on a premium leather strop before your very first shave to perfectly align the microscopic fin for maximum comfort.

Carbon steel blades are traditional, easier to hone, and hold a finer edge, but require meticulous drying and oiling to prevent rust. Stainless steel blades are highly corrosion-resistant and require less maintenance, making them ideal for humid bathroom environments.

Always rinse the blade with warm water and thoroughly dry the entire razor immediately after shaving. For carbon steel models, apply a light coat of camellia oil or mineral oil before storing it in a dry, well-ventilated space to prevent oxidation.
