Global Shipping Policy
At Sairam Solutions Ltd. (operating as SAMA Homes), we are committed to providing a seamless, premium delivery experience. We ship our "Buy-It-For-Life" hardware, Ayurvedic wellness goods, and curated aromatherapy globally via our dual-hub supply chain, fulfilling orders from our headquarters in Chestermere, Alberta, Canada, and directly from our artisan facilities in India to every country worldwide (subject to active courier routes).
1. Shipping Rates & Global Coverage
- Free Tracked Priority Shipping: We proudly offer Free Tracked Shipping to select North American regions (including Canada and the USA) on all retail orders of $75 CAD or more.
- Standard Flat-Rate Shipping: Orders falling below the $75 CAD free-shipping threshold are subject to a standard flat-rate shipping fee (currently $15 CAD for standard North American zones) or dynamically calculated rates at checkout.
- Standard Air Mail (Non-Tracked): For specific international destinations where end-to-end tracking is not available through our standard postal partners, your order will be safely dispatched via Standard Air Mail.
2. Fulfillment Operations & Local Pickup Policy
Closed Facility: Please note that our Chestermere, Alberta fulfillment hub operates strictly as a closed commercial dispatch center. To comply with local zoning and operational security, we do not offer residential walk-in shopping or local order pickup options under any circumstances. All local Chestermere and Calgary orders will be rapidly dispatched via our local courier networks.
3. Custom & Preferred Couriers (Concierge Shipping)
We understand that some buyers, especially corporate clients or international gifters, may prefer a specific global carrier (e.g., DHL, FedEx, UPS). If you require a preferred shipping method or an urgent express upgrade, please contact our team at connect@samahomes.ca immediately after placing your order. We are happy to accommodate custom courier requests; any additional costs for premium courier upgrades will be invoiced directly to the buyer prior to dispatch.
4. Processing & Dispatch Timelines
To ensure your premium items are securely packed and quality-checked, standard orders are processed and handed over to our shipping partners within 1 to 5 business days after order confirmation.
Exceptions: High-volume festival seasons (Black Friday, Boxing Day, Christmas, Diwali), major promotional events, or large B2B wholesale orders may require additional processing time. Once your order is dispatched, you will automatically receive a tracking number (where available) via email to monitor your package's journey.
5. Estimated Delivery Times & Legal Fulfillment
While transit times vary by exact location, our standard delivery estimates are as follows:
- Canada & USA: 7 to 10 business days.
- Nordic Express Lane (Sweden, Norway, Denmark): Priority tracked air freight directly supporting our Scandinavian boutique and corporate spa partners.
- International (UK, Europe, Australia, etc.): 7 to 15 business days depending on the destination region and local postal efficiency.
Proof of Delivery & Climate Liability: All delivery timeframes are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Orders confirmed as "Delivered" via the shipping carrier’s official tracking scan or Proof of Delivery (POD) shall be deemed legally fulfilled and received. Title and risk of loss transfer to the customer at that exact time. Sairam Solutions Ltd. is not financially responsible for stolen packages (porch piracy). Furthermore, SAMA Homes is not liable for environmental damage (such as melted aromatherapy candles or frozen grooming liquids) caused by packages left unattended on porches in extreme weather conditions following a successful delivery scan.
6. International Customs, Duties, and Taxes (DDU)
SAMA Homes is a verified global exporter, but we do not cover destination taxes. All international shipments are Delivered Duty Unpaid (DDU). Customers outside of Canada are legally responsible for paying all applicable import duties, VAT, or customs clearance fees mandated by their destination country's government.
No Compensation & Abandoned Packages: We will not issue partial refunds or financial compensation to offset your local customs fees. If a package is refused due to unpaid customs fees and abandoned at the border, all outbound shipping costs, exorbitant international return fees, courier penalties, and a 10% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund. If the return cost exceeds the value of the item, or if customs destroys the package, you will forfeit your refund entirely.
Strict Customs Valuation: We comply fully with international trade laws. We will not under-declare the value of items on customs forms, mark commercial shipments as "gifts," or falsify commercial invoices under any circumstances. Any requests to do so will be strictly denied.
7. Address Accuracy & Delivery Claims
Please double-check your mobile number, shipping address, and postal code at checkout. Orders cannot be modified once processed or shipped. If a package is deemed undeliverable and returned to our warehouse due to an incorrect address provided by the customer, the customer will be responsible for the return transit fees and the cost of re-shipping the parcel.
We reserve the right to investigate delivery issues and verify GPS coordinates with our courier partners before issuing any replacement or refund for a missing package claim.
8. Force Majeure & Unforeseen Delays
We partner with highly reliable couriers, but global logistics can occasionally be impacted by events outside of human control. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sairam Solutions Ltd. cannot be held liable for transit delays caused by "Force Majeure" events, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather systems or natural disasters.
- Geopolitical conflicts, wars, or border closures.
- Global pandemic lockdowns or sudden international health restrictions.
- Extended customs holds in the destination country.
- Labor strikes by postal workers, courier networks, or port authorities.
9. B2B & Dropshipping Fulfillment Exemption
This section applies strictly to retail partners purchasing via Faire, Syncee, or the SAMA Direct Dropship Program.
- End-Consumer Delivery Liability: B2B Partners are 100% financially liable for the accuracy of the shipping addresses routed to our fulfillment API or CSV portal. Sairam Solutions Ltd. will not absorb re-shipment costs, provide refunds, or issue credits for dropshipped parcels that bounce back due to address formatting errors made by the B2B Partner or their end-consumer.
- Customer Communication: B2B dropshippers must handle all tracking inquiries and delivery timelines directly with their retail customers. SAMA Homes will not communicate delivery updates to third-party retail shoppers.
