If you use pressure, yes. The Aggressive model requires a light touch. Let the weight of the razor do the work. If you press down like a cartridge razor, you will likely get nicked.
Is this good for head shaving?
Only for experienced head shavers. The scalp is sensitive and vascular. We highly recommend the AL13 Mild for head shaving unless you are a veteran wet shaver.
What blades should I use?
Since the razor is aggressive, we recommend starting with a smoother blade (like RK or Astra Green) rather than a super-sharp blade (like Feather) until you adjust to the exposure.
