Copper Water Bottles

Why is my bottle turning black inside? (Is it mold?)

No, it is NOT mold. This is called Patina (oxidation). It is the ultimate proof that your bottle is made of 100% pure copper. Fake (lacquered) copper stays shiny forever.

Authentic Patina Examples: Use Lemon & Salt to clean this instantly.

What is the 'Oligodynamic Effect'?

The Oligodynamic Effect is a natural phenomenon where copper ions dissolve into water to kill harmful bacteria and naturally alkalize the water. This is the core science behind Ayurvedic Tamra Jal.

Can I put lemon, juice, or hot water in Copper?

No. Copper reacts with acidity (citric acid) and heat. You should only store plain, room-temperature, or cold water.

Kansa (Bronze) Dinnerware

What is the difference between Kansa and Brass?

Kansa (Bronze) is Copper + Tin. It is for eating (alkalizes food).
Brass (Pital) is Copper + Zinc. It is for cooking (retains heat).

Can I eat pickles or sour food in Kansa?

It is safer than copper, but for very acidic foods (vinegar, lemon pickles), we recommend using the glass bowls included in our sets to preserve the finish.

Is Kansa dishwasher safe?

No. Harsh detergents can corrode the metal. Hand wash only with mild soap.

Brass Cookware (Pital)

Is it safe to cook in brass utensils?

Yes. Brass retains 93% of nutrients compared to 13% in non-stick pans.

What is 'Kalai' (Tin Coating)?

Kalai is a lining of pure Tin. You MUST use Tin-Lined (Kalai) Brass if you cook acidic foods (tomatoes/lemon) to prevent reactions.

Does it work on Induction?

Only our specific "Flat Bottom" brass cookware works on induction. Traditional round-bottom cookware is for gas stoves only.

Henson Shaving

AL13 (Aluminum) vs. Ti22 (Titanium)?

AL13 (37g): Lightweight, agile, great for beginners.
Ti22 (64g): Heavy, premium feel, ultra-durable.

Mild (+) vs. Medium (++)?

Mild (+): For sensitive skin and daily shaving.
Medium (++): For coarse hair and less frequent shaving (every 3-4 days).

Is it safe for head/body shaving?

Yes. The blade is clamped tight with no "chatter," making it the safest razor for head, legs, and underarms.

Idols, Vastu & Decor

Are your brass idols solid or hollow?

Most of our premium idols are Solid Brass cast using the "Lost Wax" technique. This makes them heavy and spiritually potent. Check the product weight in the description to be sure.

Which idol is best for the entrance?

According to Vastu, a Ganesha idol facing into the home is best for the entrance to invite prosperity. A Brass Tortoise on the floor facing North is good for stability.

How do I clean brass idols?

To maintain the spiritual shine, clean occasionally with Pitambari powder or Lemon. Do not use harsh chemicals.

Yoga & Ayurveda

How do I use a Neti Pot?

Fill the Copper Neti Pot with lukewarm distilled water and a pinch of non-iodized salt. Tilt your head and pour into one nostril so it flows out the other. This cleanses the sinuses (Jala Neti).

What is a Kansa Wand used for?

A Kansa Wand is for facial massage. Use it with oil to massage the face in circles. It draws out acidity (often turning the oil grey - which is a good sign of detox) and reduces puffiness.

Wood & Sustainable Goods

Is your wooden serveware food safe?

Yes. All our wooden bowls and cutlery are finished with food-safe natural oils. They are perfect for salads, dry snacks, and serving.

How do I prevent wood from cracking?

Never soak in water. Hand wash quickly and dry immediately. Rub with olive oil or coconut oil once a month to keep the wood hydrated.
